Soft Shell Crab

with Caraway Slaw

Ingredients:

  • 1 Ea Crab Soft Shell 4.5-5" Chesapeake Dressed, KJ018
  • 2 oz Veggie Power Blend Fresh
  • 1/4 oz Dressing Coleslaw Creamy
  • 1/8 oz Mustard Dijon Grained with Wine
  • 2 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/4 Tbsp Caraway Seed, Whole
  • 3 oz Breading All Purpose Mix
  • 1 E Hoagie Roll, 8"
  • 1/8 oz Red Vine Tomato, sliced thin

Preparation:

  1. Coat the soft shell crab generously with the breading and deep fry.
  2. Toast the hoagie roll.
  3. Mix together the coleslaw dressing with vinegar, mustard and caraway seed.
  4. Toss with the power blend.
  5. Place tomatoes on the toasted bun, add the slaw and fried soft shell crab.
  6. Serve with hot sauce.
