Moroccan Style Shrimp in Sauce


  • 1 Package Peeled White Shrimp, Tail-off
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, sliced
  • 1 28oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 Sweet Onion, halved and sliced
  • 1 Small Zucchini, halved lengthwise and sliced
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cumin
  • ½ Tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • ½ Tsp Ground Turmeric
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Honey
  • 4 Tsp Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 Tsp Chopped Mint


  1. In a large wide skillet with a tight-fitting lid, place the garlic, tomatoes, shrimp, onion, zucchini, cumin, ginger, paprika, turmeric, and salt. Stir the mixture well, place the lid on and cook it over medium low heat for 30 minutes. At the end of the cooking time it should be gently bubbling. Turn off the heat, but keep it covered to let it finish cooking for 5 more minutes. Garnish with the herbs and drizzle it with honey before serving.
