
La Racine
La racine literally translates in French to “the root.” This cocktail utilizes a root vegetable as its featured flavor. The name also harks back to the fact that my roots have been a huge influence in regard to the cocktails I create.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz Larceny wheated bourbon
- ¾ oz Domaine de Canton
- 1 oz fresh carrot juice
- ¼ oz lime juice
- ½ oz orange juice
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 2 dashes of Bar Keep organic fennel bitter
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass; ice and shake until well chilled. Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice, and strain cocktail into glass. Garnish with a fennel frond.
