Asian Orange Peel Chicken 'n Waffles

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Heat waffles.
  2. Cook chicken.
  3. Top with sauce.
  4. To finish, top with scallions, thinly sliced.

FOR THE SAUCE

  1. Sauté the garlic and the peels (peeled in 1-inch pieces placed in pan – seal down).
  2. When garlic browns, add soy sauce and white vinegar.
  3. Cook for about 20–30 seconds; turn off heat.
  4. Whisk in maple syrup and orange juice for the half orange.
