Ingredients
- 8 wings
- 1 oz bourbon barbecue sauce
- 1 oz Gold Dust
Sub-recipe for wings
- 20 wings
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp sweet chili powder
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp onion powder
Bourbon Gold Barbecue Sauce
- 1 cup yellow mustard
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1 cup bourbon
Preparation
- Set oven to 350 F.
- Rinse chicken wings in cold water. Drain all liquid off wings completely.
- Mix all dry seasonings and season wings evenly.
- Toss wings in seasoning and coat with oil.
- Place on an unlined sheet tray.
- Cook in oven for 25 minutes.
Bourbon Gold Barbecue Sauce
- Mix mustard, ketchup, brown sugar and bourbon in a small saute pan.
- Place over low heat for 15 minutes to 20 minutes until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and let cool before placing in cooler.
- Fry wings at 350 F until crispy.
- Toss in a bowl with Bourbon Gold Barbecue Sauce until wings are fully coated.
- Dust gold flakes until fully coated.
