Sub-recipe for wings

Bourbon Gold Barbecue Sauce


  1. Set oven to 350 F.
  2. Rinse chicken wings in cold water. Drain all liquid off wings completely.
  3. Mix all dry seasonings and season wings evenly.
  4. Toss wings in seasoning and coat with oil.
  5. Place on an unlined sheet tray.
  6. Cook in oven for 25 minutes.

Bourbon Gold Barbecue Sauce

  1. Mix mustard, ketchup, brown sugar and bourbon in a small saute pan.
  2. Place over low heat for 15 minutes to 20 minutes until sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool before placing in cooler.
  4. Fry wings at 350 F until crispy.
  5. Toss in a bowl with Bourbon Gold Barbecue Sauce until wings are fully coated.
  6. Dust gold flakes until fully coated.
