Why she’s one to watch
After working 10 years in fashion, Weger moved to Europe where she swiftly immersed herself in the culinary world as a line cook in Paris. Her culinary endeavors continued here in the States with the opening of lou in Nashville in 2019.

One woman who has inspired her throughout the years
As a new restaurant owner with goals to expand lou into other cities, Weger looks up to the likes of chef Jody Williams of Buvette, which currently has locations in New York, Paris and Tokyo.
Lou was recognized as one of Food & Wine’s “19 Biggest Restaurant Openings of 2019.”
