Passion House Coffee Joins Forces with Hip-Hop Star
A sweet collaboration with Chance The Rapper fights mental illness
Our next Restaurant Inc. podcast (You can also listen to the #restaurantinc podcast on iTunes) took us to Passion House Coffee, where we sat down with proprietor Joshua Millman over sips and sweets. We joined him at his third location in Chicago’s Goose Island neighborhood and discussed his latest initiative—a timely project with award-winning hip-hop star Chance The Rapper.
With mental illness a prevalent issue that’s finally getting attention within the hospitality industry, Millman saw an opportunity to help fight it. He’s partnered with My State of Mind (MSOM), a mental wellness solution by Chance the Rapper’s charity, SocialWorks, to raise money for awareness to help others get the help they need. Passion House sells its award-winning cold coffee brew in specially designed cans, and with every purchase, 50 percent of the proceeds benefits MSOM's efforts.
We discuss this meaningful new project, Millman’s coffee obsession and much more during the #restaurantinc podcast.
